Alasdair Allan and Pete Warden (whom I’m convinced doesn’t sleep) have discovered that iPhones record your locations in a local, unencrypted file.
“All iPhones appear to log your location to a file called ‘consolidated.db.’ This contains latitude-longitude coordinates along with a timestamp. The coordinates aren’t always exact, but they are pretty detailed.” (via O’Reilly Radar)
Update: Grab Warden’s app here.

Millions of Filipino men and women had to leave their country for jobs abroad beneath their level of education. Filipino professionals whom we recruited to work in Singapore are as good as our own. Indeed, their architects, artists, and musicians are more artistic and creative than ours. Hundreds of thousands of them have left for Hawaii and for the American mainland. It is a problem the solution to which has not been made easier by the workings of a Philippine version of the American constitution.

The difference lies in the culture of the Filipino people. It is a soft, forgiving culture. Only in the Philippines could a leader like Ferdinand Marcos, who pillaged his country for over 20 years, still be considered for a national burial. Insignificant amounts of the loot have been recovered, yet his wife and children were allowed to return and engage in politics.

I am tired of being broke and broken!

brokeIt’s been a while now since I’ve updated my blog and for the months I was not blogging, a lot was happening to me and  my family. Since the last time, things have changed. My family and I have moved out of our old home and now to our new home, well it’s  just a small condo unit but for us it is what we call  “OUR HOME” as we could truly call this our own small kingdom. This is where we will build and grow further our family, our hopes and dreams. I’ve also re-entered the corporate world leaving behind my old career as a technical support associate in a contact center.

Why the title you might ask, well with our moving to our own small “kingdom” came the challenges that came with this decision.  And believe me, these challenges came with each having their own weight.  The challenges really took a toll on our  health and finances. There are the sleepless nights knowing that bills are coming due while our income would not suffice for the payments , and because of this affecting our health as well. At these situations, our only recourse was to hold on to our God and have faith that things will turn out to be for the better. In fact, it does seem to be a bit better now. Well, admittedly the challenges are there to stay but we have grown from these challenges and have had stronger convictions than ever that these are all temporary and will pass. Our good Lord is truly blessing us through the wisdom we learn from these challenges and WOW what revelations are being brought our way.

At this point all we could say is Thank you very much, Our Lord!

‘Til the Next Time…..
